**The District of Columbia does not have any U.S. senators.**

D.C. is a federal district, not a state, so it has no voting representation in the U.S. Senate (or full voting representation in the House). Residents elect a non-voting delegate to the House—currently Eleanor Holmes Norton—but no senators.

This is set by the U.S. Constitution, which gives two senators per *state*. D.C. statehood proposals have been discussed for years but have not passed.
